Sleek - i-Divine Ultra Mattes VI Brights palette

I'd seen some pictures of the Sleek Ultra Mattes Brights palette & decided I wanted to check it out. For £6.99 you get 12 eyeshadows, which is a pretty good deal.

The palette is a neat black that isn't huge, it will happily fit in most handbags for touch-ups. Opening the lid reveals a decently-sized mirror, two rows of shadows & a double-ended sponge applicator.

The top row of shadows are Chill, Pout, Sugarlite, Dragonfly, Pucker & Bamm!
Chill is a bright sky blue. I found this needs a little more packing on to get a true-to-pan look than some of the other colours in this palette.
Pout, a bright fuchsia, applies easily and has good pigmentation.
Sugarlite is deceptively vivid in the pan, but applies as a vivid pastel purple (if that makes sense). This was one of the harder shades to work with, it's not as easy to pick up as much colour as with Pout.
Dragonfly is very much like Pout, texture-wise. It's a great, pigmented green with a touch of blue to it.
Pucker is incredibly similar to Pout, but with less of a red tone to it. It also applied well & has good pigmentation.
Bamm! is a bright primary yellow shade that, when applied, seems to have a hint of a satiny sheen to it. This is another of the less pigmented shades in the palette & is a little more difficult to work with.

For the swatches, I applied the dry shadows straight on to skin, no primer was used.

The second row of shadows consists of Cricket, Bolt, Strike, Floss, Crete & Pow!
Cricket, the second green in the palette, is more of a grassy green. This is one of the shadows with better pigmentation.
Bolt is a very vivid, well-pigmented blue that almost verges on turquoise. Bolt is also easy to apply.
Strike, a bright orange, applies very much like Bamm! and also has a slight satin sheen, it's one of the trickier shades in this palette & isn't as well pigmented as some of the other colours.
Floss is a cool pastel pink. Although it lacks bad pigmentation, it does look a little invisible on paler skin tones (like mine, as you'll see in the swatch).
Crete is a very pale grey shade that also tends to look very muted on pale skin tones, so much so that it practically turns white.
Pow! is a creamy white matte that also tends to get a bit lost on paler skin. A true, stark white would work better for pale skin tones.

The pros to this palette are the great price, the shades that have the best pigmentation of the palette truly do not disappoint, the palette is a practical & portable size.
The cons are the the shades where pigmentation is lacking a little (Sugarlite, Bamm! & Strike) and the three shades that don't show up with much of a difference on paler skin (Floss, Crete & Pow!). Some of the shades are a little powdery in texture, but they're not the worst offenders I've come across.

If you're looking to boost your bright shadow collection, then Ultra Mattes Brights is hardly the worst way to do it, especially considering the price.
