Illamasqua -Fledgling Eyeshadow

From the Human Fundamentalism collection, Illamasqua powder eyeshadow in Fledgling, a vivid matte green.

Illamasqua's matte shadows have superb pigmentation & Fledgling is no exception. It applies easily thanks to its soft texture, but it isn't so soft that it is overly-powdery. Because of the texture, it blends well too.

Shade-wise, Fledgling is really vivid, the pictures seem to have dulled it down a touch. It's quite a grassy green, not too yellow.

The swatches were done using Fledgling dry & applying it straight on to bare skin, no primer used with it,  yet it still pops.

Quality-wise, Fledgling is exactly what I've come to expect from Illamasqua; it ticks all the boxes as far as pigmentation, texture & blendability goes. The colour is stunning, very bright & it doesn't become at all muddy upon blending. Fledgling would make a great addition to any collection, especially if greens are your thing.
