OPI - Muppets Collection

I feel like it's been ages since I last posted something. It's probably due to suffering from a horrendous cold that's left me with no will to do anything lately.
Anyhoo, what better way to cheer myself up than by posting about glittery things?
This is the OPI Muppets collection. Although there's 12 colours with this one, my inner magpie chose to concentrate purely on the glitters.

Rainbow Connection

First up is Rainbow Connection. A clear base packed with multi-coloured glitter, this one is the closest dupe I've found so far for Deborah Lippmann's Happy Birthday. Three or four coats are needed for an opaque, glittery nail or just a couple over the base colour of your choice.

Gone Gonzo

Gone Gonzo is, again, a clear base. This time, the glitter is blue with larger silver glitter scattered throughout. As with Rainbow Connection, three or four coats is best for a full-on completely covered nail.

Divine Swine

Despite looking quite purple in the pictures, Divine Swine is really more of a pinky purple. As with Gone Gonzo, it's pinky purple glitter is offset by the larger silver glitter. Yet another 3 or 4 coater here, but this looks just as stunning as an accent to a hot pink or a purple.

Fresh Frog of Bel Air

The green offering from the Muppets collection comes in the very glittery form of Fresh Frog of Bel Air. As with Gone Gonzo & Divine Swine, a clear base is packed with glitter.

Excuse Moi!

Excuse Moi! is the only one of these glittery beauties that doesn't have a clear base, two coats will give full coverage. The base shade is a rosy pink that contains small silver glitter with larger, coloured pieces throughout.

Gettin' Miss Piggy With It
The last of the glitters comes in the form of Gettin' Miss Piggy With It. This is a clear base packed with stunning red glitter in both small & large flecks, & large silver glitter. Again, 3 or 4 coats are needed for an opaque finish. This looks absolutely stunning over a red base, I've tried it with OPI's I'm Not Really A Waitress & China Glaze's Long Kiss & it looked beautiful over both.

Gettin' Miss Piggy With It

This is a really pretty collection but the stand-outs for me are Divine Swine & Gettin' Miss Piggy With It. Because they're dense glitter polishes, these are obviously going to be a bit of a headache to remove, but the colours are definitely worth it.
