Glitter Polish Haul

I admit it, I have a problem with glittery things, I just can't resist them. When I saw these polishes, they immediately appealed, especially the green & pink.

The two Zoya polishes, Rina & Kissy, are from the Gems & Jewels collection. Although I have a few green & pink glitters, none are quite like this.
Whilst I like blue glitter polishes, they're not my favourite. But Connaught Square by Nails Inc. caught my attention.

Rina

Rina isn't your typical green glitter. Instead of small, round glitters, Rina is made up of bar glitter. The base is a very bright, vivid green and there's blue holographic accents. These aren't quite as apparent on the nails as they are in the bottle. Certain angles show the polish to be purely green, moving your hands gives a flash of the blue flecked throughtout.

Kissy
Kissy is very similar to Rina, it's a bright pink shade but the holographic glitter is a lot more apparent. In certain lights, Kissy looks almost red.

Both shades can be applied as a finishing touch to a base colour or layered to achieve an opaque glittery effect. It takes about three coats to completely cover the nail & a good, glossy topcoat is an absolute must as once these have dried, they look a little matte.
One other consideration to bear in mind is removal. These can be quite hard-going when it comes to taking them off.
Both Rina & Kissy have quickly become favourites. Nothing else in my collection is quite like these two polishes.

Connaught Square

Pure glittery goodness. Connaught Square is packed full of blue glitter, but the added bonus is the larger glitters in a pinky-purple shade.
You can just about see these in the picture. To the eye, they're much more obvious.

Connaught Square

This would look great layered over a bright blue base shade. For the swatch photo, there's three or four coats of Connaught Square built up to create an opaque glittery colour. Although it doesn't dry as matte as the Zoya shades, a topcoat does help to bring out the true beauty of this polish.
