Four shadows with this small collection. Since these are limited edition & selling like hotcakes, I had to try them out.
The four shades are Sparkle Neely, Sparkle!, a warm reddish brown with golden shimmer (Velvet), Hocus Pocus, a sooty grey with silver shimmer (Satin), Jealousy Wakes, an emerald green with teal & golden shimmer (Veluxe Pearl), and Parisian Skies, a greyed-blue shade (Satin).

I found these to be very soft in texture, it only took a couple of swipes of the pan to get enough colour to create a good, solid swatch. For the actual swatches, these were done straight on to bare skin, using the shadows dry.

As far as actually using them, I've only had chance to play with two colours so far - Hocus Pocus & Jealousy Wakes. Both applied well, had great pigmentation & I had no problem at all with blending them. The shimmer popped with both of these shades, but it didn't give an overly frosty appearance. In the case of Hocus Pocus, the shimmer translated as more of a sheen that was obviously there but not at all OTT. It's definitely a colour that's easy to wear for looks that are more subtle.
The standouts in this batch of shadows, for me, are Hocus Pocus & Jealousy Wakes. Hocus Pocus because it's adaptable - can be subtle or you can amp it up for a more smoky look. Jealousy Wakes because it's such a gorgeous colour. The teal shimmers add dimension & transform it from being just another green shade.
