All The Colours of The Rainbow - nail polishes part 7

Pink

Aaargh! Yet more polishes that won't play nicely with the camera. It seems to be the brighter ones that aren't behaving themselves.

  1. Essie - Flirty Fuchsia
  2. Color Club - Pink Flame
  3. Color Club - Just Chill
  4. Nails Inc. - Piccadilly Circus
  5. Zoya - this one has no name on the bottle!
  6. Zoya - Ali
  7. Zoya -Lola
  8. Zoya - Katy
  9. Zoya - Michelle
  10. Zoya - Starla
  11. Zoya - Nova
  12. Zoya - Gilda
  13. Nails Inc. - Elizabeth St.
  14. China Glaze - It's 5 o'Clock Somewhere
  15. China Glaze - Bing Cherry
  16. China Glaze - Fly
  17. China Glaze - Raspberry Festival
  18. China Glaze - It's Poppin'
  19. China Glaze - Shocking Pink
  20. China Glaze - Pink Voltage
The colours that haven't really translated well in the picture are Flirty Fuchsia, Shocking Pink & Pink Voltage. Flirty Fuchsia is a deeper, brighter pink. Shocking Pink looks almost peachy in the picture, it's actually a bright, neon pink. As is Pink Voltage, which has a blue sheen to it.

Ali & Lola have also suffered. Both are neons. Lola being the deeper pink, it also has a blue sheen like Pink Voltage. The two are quite different though. Lola has more in common with Flirty Fuchsia.

Elizabeth St. looks almost like there's nothing on the wheel. It's definitely a nude pink, very work appropriate.

For an outrageously glittery pink, Nova is a great choice. Two or three coats gives you a full-on, opaque glittery nail. As with a lot of glitters, it can be awkward to remove.

  1. China Glaze - BFF
  2. China Glaze - Strawberry Fields
  3. China Glaze - Sprinkles
  4. China Glaze - QT
  5. China Glaze - How About A Tumble
  6. China Glaze - Doll House
  7. OPI - Ate Berries In The Canaries
  8. OPI - DS Exclusive
  9. OPI - Show It & Glow It
  10. OPI - Pompeii Purple
  11. OPI - Don't Know, Beets Me
  12. OPI - La Paz-itively Hot
  13. OPI - DS Sensation
  14. OPI - You're A Doll

Four holos here in the forms of BFF, QT, How About A Tumble & DS Exclusive. The deeper, more magenta shade is DS Exclusive . As is the case with most holos, brighter or paler shades bring out the holographic shine more than a darker colour.
How About A Tumble is a glittery holo, so it shines more than the others. Since it's fairly pale, you'll need to build it up a bit to get it looking as it does in the bottle.

Doll House comprises of large pink glitter particles in a clear base. Not really one to use on its own.

Although its name implies a purple, Pompeii Purple is definitely more of a pink. It's a bright pink with a blue/purple sheen.

Another nude pink in the form of You're A Doll. This one is a shade or two darker than Elizabeth St & has micro-glitters in a brighter shade of pink. Not at all showy, it's still work-appropriate but with an added oomph.
